Boston Pizza Nanaimo: Classic Pizzas, Pub Fare & Friendly Service

I just wanna start with Saying Me and my fiancé had an excellent time and the service we Received from Paige A was excellent She was kind, polite, and extremely professional always making sure that we had the proper stuff at the table For the plates that we desired down to even Asking if we enjoyed our meal at the proper time. Me and my fiancé were in here a couple weeks ago and the service we had then was not what it was today! I think Paige A Could be a great leader in showing other waitresses on what they should be doing.

Pretty good pub food quality, with a large menu. Typical sports bar vibe, having multiple screens but all showing the same thing. It's very popular, and the waiting area can be busy at times. The staff try to turn over tables as quickly as they can. Which means fairly fast food service, but not great over all service. I would go if I had a gift card, or was in the area. But I wouldn't make a special trip.

the food was pretty good than the other restaurants i went in nanaimo they where playing apt, i don’t like that song but the food is really good honestly i remember a really good waiter it’s loud here and packed

Five stars all around my one of my fav dishes at BP is the Boston Pizza Chicken Pecan Salad that features garden greens, candied pecans, pizza mozzarella, cheddar, bacon, cucumbers, carrots, tomatoes, and ranch dressing, with your choice of grilled or breaded chicken breast Other dishes here are the chicken parmigiana and the hungry carnivore pasta

Well it was a big toss up between sushi , Cactus or Boston Pizza , so we decided on Boston as we had not been for a long time as their service is not normally that great. But we felt like pizza and pasta. We arrived and we well greeted by a friendly young man and then escorted to a table but decided instead to sit outside on the patio with it being a great night and there was no one else out there. We were then greeted by a lovely young lady who had a very hospitable nature and happy demeanour. She ordered our drinks promptly and was very attentive and we then gave our full order to her. She nailed it in every way. Went above and beyond with serving our drinks and bringing out the food. She made our evening great, with her great conversations and super friendly personality. Her name was also very unique being Meadow and honestly gave us the BEST service ever, above any Boston Pizza we have been to over the many years of taking hockey teams to dinners. Her service was authentic and genuine and she actually showed that she enjoyed her work and having us as her guests, very rare these days. She has an extremely bright future ahead of her with all her great ambitions and dreams. She sure knows how to work for them and give all she can to what she does. She would be the manager of the restaurant as the manager is no where near her level of service. I ordered the lasagna expecting a a traditional delicious lasagna but instead got a bowl of weird flat noodles mixed with some tomato sauce with very little meat sauce and topped with cheese. Not good at all!! I only had a few bites and then left the the rest. Don’t try it! You will be very disappointed! Not once did the manager check on us even though the restaurant only had a handful of tables and then when I sent my meal back she didn’t even show up to apologise or enquire! Basically didn’t give a damn about our experience. And still only discounted the meal I sent back by 50%. That’s shameful! Who charges a customer for something that they don’t eat and more importantly don’t like because of the poor quality. Anyway the restaurant sure is lucky to have someone like Meadow working for them and the manager better watch out as Meadow could teach her a lot about enjoying your job and customer service. Without Meadow this rating would have been 2 stars for sure. But here is a more detailed broken down review. Great location close to the highway. Had a birthday party here. Staff was very helpful and flexible with booking the space. Service was a little infrequent at times given the party was for kids and needs change quickly but overall a great location. Will book here again.

Today was Pasta Tuesday so my wife and I decided to come to Boston after the lunch rush was over. The food was outstanding as usual with enough to take home for later, the service was fantastic, and the restaurant was spotless. I have to say our server again was fantastic... she was awesome, so this place remains one of my all-time top places to eat so I decided to update my original review... but this time I'm including pictures.
